Gravitational force (F) is inversely proportional to square of separation (d) between objects
F ∝ 1 / d²
F₁ / F₂ = (d₂ / d₁)²
d₂ = d₁ × √(F₁ / F₂)
d₂ = d₁ × √(100 / 50)
d₂ = 1.414d₁
Δd = 0.414
Distance between the objects should be increased by 0.414 m
F ∝ 1 / d²
F₁ / F₂ = (d₂ / d₁)²
d₂ = d₁ × √(F₁ / F₂)
d₂ = d₁ × √(100 / 50)
d₂ = 1.414d₁
Δd = 0.414
Distance between the objects should be increased by 0.414 m
