The gravitational force of attraction between two bodies
at a certain distance is 70 N. If the distance of separation
between them is doubled, then find the percentage change
in force of attraction?
1) Decreases by 25%

Explanation:

lets assume the distance b/w them is x

70N = Gm1m2/x^2

if the distance becomes 2x

F=Gm1m2/4x^2=1/4×70=35÷2=17.5

hence percentage decrease = 70-17.5÷70×100= 75%
