Let the masses of the objects be m1 and m2

let the initial distance between them "d".

Therefore the Gravitational force between them

Gravitational force between them F1 = (G *m1*m2)/d^2.

As per the question, F1 = 4 N.

Now, the separation distance is made 1/4th of the original distance (i.e "d/4")

New gravitational force

= (G *m1*m2)/{(d/4)^2}

= 16 (G*m1*m2)/(d^2)

= 16 (G*m1*m2)/(d^2)

= 16 *F1

= 16* 4

= 64 N.

Hence the answer is 64 N.
