the great plains have more railways than the Himalayan mountains. three reasons.

As there is low population in the mountainous areas so the need of railways is less
it is difficult to build railways in the mountainous areas
plain have more industrial opportunities as compare to mountains

The main reasons for Himalayas not having many railways are as follows:-

1)shape of the mountains is one of the biggest reasons that there are not many trains in himalyas.

2) another reason is that we need to get more technically advanced in railways
