As per Greeks terminology Mesopotamia is nothing but the land that is between two rivers.

This is the historical region that was located in the northeast area towards the eastern Mediterranean enveloped around Zagros Mountains and also towards the southeast with Arabian Plateau.

Today, this place covers most part of Iraq and Kuwait and towards eastern side it covers Syria and Turkey.
