in cactus the stem contain the chlorophyll which helps in photosynthesis and non green plants get their food by the following methods:-

a) saprophytic mode of nutrition

b) parasytic mode of nutririon

non green plants such as rufflesia is a prarasitic plant which depends on insects.they are called hetirotroph
