Growing population demands more space, food, occupations, water and all basic needs. To fulfill those, earths natural resources are used. In case of population explosion, resources are over exploited to meet the needs of the same. Biodiversity is part of natural resources, so they are being threatened at this hour of time.

To combat this threat, either we have to limit the growth of population or we have to go for alternate resources so that demands are quenched and resources are also preserved i.e sustainable development.
