growing human population would mean increase need for food , shelter other basic amenities to provide housing space forest have to be chopped down.
this will force the animals to find hiding somewhere else and most of the species are indigenous that is they grow only there would become extinct.
as had been in the case of dodo, java tiger , sea cow etc.
