Answer:

The United Nations Population Division projects world population to reach 11.2 billion by the end of the 21st century, but Sanjeev Sanyal has argued that global fertility will fall below the replacement rate in the 2020s and that world population will peak below 9 billion by 2050, followed by a long decline.

The growth of world's population was followed by India also, because -

• Currently India is the second most populated country in the world with more than 130 crore population.

• And,India is just behind the population of the China.

• Now,the India is retaining almost 18% of the global population and this percentage is increasing with the every passing year.

• That's why the amount of global population is also increasing by the contribution of the India also.

• That's why we can say that, the growth of world's population was followed by India also.
