Hey Dear,

◆ Answer -

232 min

◆ Explaination -

During 80% completion of the reaction, 100-80 = 20 % reactant will remain.

A = 20% A0

A = 0.2 A0

Rate constant is calculated by -

k = 0.693 / t½

k = 0.693 / 100

k = 0.00693 /min

Time taken for completion of reaction,

t = 2.303/k log(A0/A)

t = 2.303/0.00693 log(A0/0.2A0)

t = 2.303/0.00693 log(5)

t = 232 min

Therefore, it will take 232 min for 80 % completion of reaction.

Hope this helps you.
