the hand of a clock is 7cm long and calculate the distance and displacement of the minute hand when it moves from 9am to 9 30 am​

The minute hand moves from 9 am to 9:30 am it means the point at the free end of the minute hand is describing a semi-circle .

Distance =half of the perimeter

= πr= 7π c.m.

Displacement = diameter = 2r

=2 x 7cm = 14c.m.
