Purchase price of handbags = 1500

additional cost(transportation) = 125

Total cost price = 1500 + 125 = 1625

Total selling price= 5087.5

selling price> cost price

so profit exists..

Profit= selling price - cost price..

= 5087.5 - 1625

= 3462.5

profit Percentage= (profit/cost price)×100

= (3462.5/1625)×100

=(2.130) × 100

= 213%

Purchased @1500

Transportation @125

Total Cost will be 1500 + 125 = 1625

Total sales price = 5087.50

We know that

profit= Sales price - cost price

= 5087.5 - 1625
=3462.50

Profit Percentage= Profit/cost price ×100

=3462.50/1625 × 100 = 213%
