according to me the most pathetic scene was when the prince gave away everything what he had and so the bird did not leave the prince alone there, the bird stayed back in cold with the prince, and died due to it.

yes , the story of the happy Prince had an Happy Ending when the servants of God took the heart of the happy Prince and the dead body of the bird as the most beautiful thing of earth to heaven, and there after the happy Prince and the bird lived happily ever after.
