Bcz washing soda is made up of sulphides so after adding washing soda in it it becomes soft

As we know that the hard water contains the calcium and magnesium salts in the form of sulphides. When hard water reacts with washing soda then the calcium and magnesium salts are precipitated and hard water becomes soft.
