It is hundred percent true that there is no substitute for hard work. Comparing the two entities is a fallacy. Hard work is the first prerequisite to have luck. The paradox of this comparison between hard work and luck is most people believe more in the latter and less in the former! Hence, all the problems arise. Lady luck is very loyal to its commitment to hard work. You cannot have her without hard work. It has been seen people generally set out on the journey to success depending upon luck alone, which is a big mistake! They end up disappointed and unsuccessful!
On the other hand, there is a class of men and women, who are inspired and intrigued by hard work just take up hard work as their mode of operation to success. Though they sweat and work hard along, just a little farther on the way they realize the blessedness of being industrious. Hard work appears to be a sin, but in reality, it is a sheer blessing!
