The HCF and LCM of three numbers are 6 and 420 respectively,

let the third number is x

therefore,

12 = HCF×2(uncommon number)

30=HCF×5(uncommon number)

x =HCF×y (let the uncommon number in X is y)

Now,

HCF×uncommon numbers=LCM

or, 6×2×5×y=420

or, 60y=420

or, y=420/60

or, y= 7

therefore the third number X=HCF×y

=6×7

=42
