HCF = 33

LCM = 264

The other number

Solution:

let the first number is x

=> X/2 = 33

=> X = 33 x 2

=> X = 66

The first number is 66

Product of two numbers = HCF x LCM

=> one number is 66.

let the second number is y.

=> 66 * y = 33 x 264

=> 66y = 8712

=> y = 8712 ÷ 66

=> y = 132.

Hence, The other number is 132.

Verify:
