to find a no. you multiply the numbers then equate to the hcf and lcm
i.e  a x b = hcf x lcm
since the third no. is n
therefore, 264 x 84 x n = 12 x 36 x 12
        22176n = 33264
              n=1.5 
              
                             therefore n is 1.5
