To Find: HCF of 8, 4, 6, and 12

★Solution★

For Finding the H.C.F., we must find the prime factors of each term.

8=2×2×2

4=2×2

6=2×3

12=2×2×3

As, the highest common factor among all the four terms is '2', and;

∴ The H.C.F. of 4, 6, 8, & 12 is equal to 2.
