Answer:

128,

Step-by-step explanation:

we know,

Sum of two numbers=H.C.F. X  L.C.M.

Given that H.C.F.=16 & L.C.M.= 240

SO WE CAN WRITE THAT,

H.C.F. X L.C.M Devided by A = B

SO,

240 X 16 / A =B

Given that A = 48,so

240 X 16 / 48 =B

240 X 16 = 2440/48=80

Therefore, B=80

Sum of A=B,(48=80)

Therefore; Answer=128
