The HCF of A and B is 16 and the LCM of A and B is 240. If A = 48 , then find A+B

HCF = 16

LCM = 240

a = 48 and b =?

According to the formula

a × b = LCM X HCF

48b = 16 * 240

b = (16 x 240) / 48 = 80

Now a = 48 and b = 80

a + b = 48 + 80 = (128)
