FINDING LCM & HCF

1.HCF ×LCM=PRODUCT OF TWO GIVEN NUMBER

SO,

HCF=PRODUCT OF TWO NUMBERS ÷ LCM

LCM=PRODUCT OF TWO NUMBERS ÷ HCF

HCF means Hoghest common factor .so we can find out HCF by finding common factor

LCM means Lowest Common multiples. So we can find LCM by finding lowest common multiples

\underline{\bold{Given:-}}

L.C.M. = 70

H.C.F. = 2

One number = 14

\underline{\bold{Solution:-}}

Let the other number be x.

We know that

Product of two numbers = L.C.M. × H.C.F.

14 \times x = 70 \times 2 \\  \\ x =  \frac{70 \times2 }{14}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{70}{7}  \\  \\ x = 10

So, the other number is 10.
