Given :

  • HCF of two numbers = 75

  • LCM of two numbers = 1500

  • 1st number = 300

To Find :

  • 2nd number

Solution :

We know that

 \large \boxed{\boxed{\sf \green{ LCM  \times HCF = 1st  \: no. \times2nd \: no.}}}

Substitute values in formula

 \sf \implies1500 \times 75 = 300 \times 2nd \: no. \\  \\  \sf \implies112500 = 300 \times 2nd \: no. \\  \\  \sf \implies 2nd \: no. =  \frac{112500}{300} \\  \\  \large\implies  \boxed{ \boxed{ \sf \blue{2nd \: no. =  375}}}

Given ,

HCF & LCM of two numbers are 75 and 1500 and one of the number is 300

Let , the other number be b

As we know that ,

 \star \:  \sf \: LCM(a,b)  =  \frac{a \times b}{HCF(a,b)}

Substitute the known values , we get

\sf \Rightarrow 1500 =  \frac{300 \times b}{75}  \\  \\ \sf \Rightarrow  5 =  \frac{b}{75} \\   \\ \sf \Rightarrow  b = 5 \times 75 \\   \\ \sf \Rightarrow  b = 375

 \therefore \sf \bold{ \underline{The \:  other  \: number \:  is  \: 375 \: }}
