The HCF of two numbers is 5.if one of this is 65 and the sum of HCF and LCM is 1760 the other one is?

Given,

The first number = 65
H.C.F = 5
Sum of H.C.F and L.C.M i.e. H.C.F + L.C.M = 1760

5 + L.C.M = 1760

L.C.M = 1760 - 5

L.C.M = 1755

So, we know that,

$\bf \: H.C.F × L.C.M = product of the given numbers. \\ \\ \bf \: Let the other number be x. \\ \\ 5 × 1755 = 65 × x \\ \\ \frac{ 5 × 1755 }{ 65 } = x \\ \\ x = 135$
