As LCM × HCF = product of 2 no's

So product of a and b = LCM of a and b × HCF of a and b

= 200× 5

= 1000

Answer:

The required product of a and b is 1000

Step-by-step explanation:

H.C.F. of the two number is given to be 5

L.C.M. of the two number is given to be 200

Let the two numbers are :  a and b

⇒ H.C.F.(a , b) = 5

and L.C.M.(a , b) = 200

And we need to find the product of a and b

Now, using the relation that the product of two numbers is equal to the product of their H.C.F. and their L.C.M.

Thus, a × b = H.C.F.(a , b) × L.C.M.(a , b)

⇒ a × b = 5 × 200

⇒ a × b = 1000

Hence, The required product of a and b is 1000
