The mount of coal burnt is mass = 3.2 kg

Explanation:

We are given that:

Calorific value of fuel = 25000 KJ/Kg

Heat produced = 80000 KJ

To Find: Mass of coal burnt = ?

Solution:

The formula is given

Calorific value = Heat produced / mass of coal

25000 KJ/Kg = 80000 KJ / Mass of coal

Mass of coal = 80000 KJ / 25000 KJ/Kg

Mass of coal = 3.2 Kg

Thus the mount of coal burnt is m = 3.2 kg
