Hey, Question is Incomplete.

Correct question will be,

The height of a ball t seconds after it is thrown is modeled by the function h = 24t - 4.9t² +1. Find the time taken by it to reach the maximum height?

Solution,

For Maximum height,

Differentiating both sides with respect to time.

dh/dt = 24 - 9.8t + 0

⇒ 24 - 9.8t = 0 [Since, dh/dt is zero maxima].

∴ 9.8t = 24

⇒ t = 9.8/24

∴ t = 0.408 seconds.

Hope it helps.

Answer:Acceleration = (Final velocity - Initial velocity )/ Time

Acceleration = (0 - 50) /  5

Acceleration = -50 / 5

Acceleration = -10m/s^2

Hope this answer is correct..........
