Given height of cone = 15 cm
volume of cone = 1570 cm^3
since , we know that
volume of cone = (1/ 3) πr^2h
according to the given statement:
------------------------------------------------
(1/3) πr^2h = 1570
( 1/ 3 ) πr^2 × 15 = 1570
5 πr^2 = 1570
πr^2 = 314
r^2 = 314 × 7 / 22 => r^2 = 2198 / 22
r^2 = 99.9 = 100 ( approx.)
r =√100 = 10 cm
therefore,
radius of the base of cone = 10 cm
Answer : radius = 10 cm
