Given :-

  • The height of a cone is 16 cm .

  • The base radius of cone is 12 cm.

To Find :-

  • The slant height of a cone.

Solution :-

We know that,

l² = h² + r²

l = √ h² + r²

We have,

  • r = 12 cm

  • h = 16 cm

Finding the slant hieght,

l = √ h² + r²

➝ l = √ 16² + 12²

➝ l = √ 256 + 144

➝ l = √400

➝ l = √ 20 × 20

l = 20 cm

Hence, The slant height of a cone is 20 cm.
