The height of a cone is 16 cm and its base radius is 12 cm. Find the
curved surface area and the total surface area of the cone (Use a = 3.14).​

Answer:

l= √h^2+r^2

=√16^2+12^2

=√256+144

=√400

=20

C.S.A= πrl

=3.14*12*20

=753.6 cm^2

T.S.A=πr(l+r)

= 3.14*12(20+12)

=3.14*12(32)

=3.14*384

= 1205.76 cm^2
