Height of cone= 16 cm
Radius of cone= 12 cm
So,
Slant height= √{(16)²+(12)²}
= √{256+144}
= √{400}
= 20 cm
Now,
C.S.A.= πrl= 22/7*11*20
= 4840/7= 691.428
= 691.43 cm²
Again,
T.S.A.= πrl+πr²
= 4840/7+(22/7*144)
= (4840+3168)/7
= 8008/7
= 1144 cm²
