Given : Height of a conical vessel = 3.5 cm

Capacity of conical vessel = 3.3 litres or 3300 cm³

Now,

We know, Volume of cone = 1/3 πr²h

3300 = 1/3 x 22/7 x r² x 3.5

3300 × 3 = 22 × r² × 0.5

3300 × 3 = 11r²

r² = 9900/11

r² = 900

r = √900

r = 30

Radius of cone = 30 cm

diameter of its base ,d = 2 × Radius

d = 2 × 30 cm

d = 60 cm

Hence, the diameter of its base is 60 cm.
