Answer:

Length = 12 cm

Breadth = 8 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Height of the cuboid= 4 cm

Let the breadth= x cm

so Length = (x+4) cm

Now

volume= 384 cm³

(x+4)× x × 4= 384

x²+4x = 384/4= 96

x²+4x-96=0

x²+ (12-8)x- 96 = 0

x²+12x- 8x-96 = 0

x(x+12) -8(x+12) =0

(x+12)×(x-8)= 0

Either x+12=0 so x=-12 but breadthh can't be negative

or x-8=0 hence x =8

breadth= 8 cm

length= 8+4= 12 cm
