Given :-

• The height of the cylinder = 4cm

• The area of its bases = 25π cm^2

Solution :-

As we know that,

Area of circle = πr^2

Therefore,

It is given that the base area of a cylinder is 25π

so,

πr^2 = 25π

πr^2 / π = 25

r^2 = 25

r = 5 cm

Thus, The radius of the cylinder = 5cm

Now,

The volume of the cylinder = πr^2h

Here, π = 22/7 , r = 5cm and h = 4cm

Put the required values in the formula ,

Volume of cylinder = π * 5 * 5 * 4

Volume of cylinder = 100π cm^3

Hence , The volume of cylinder is 100π cm^3.
