the height of a cylinder is 77 m and the circumference of the base of the cylinder is 24 M find the volume of the cylinder

Height of cylinder(h) = 77m 

Circumference of base of cylinder (c1) = 24 m = 2πr

2πr  = 24 

r = 12/π

volume of cylinder = πr²h

= π x 12/π x 12/π x 77

= 144x 77/π

= (144 x77) x 7/22

= 77616/22

= 3528 m³

volume of cylinder = 22/7 x r2 x h      (22/7 = pi)   given ,
height = 77 m

circumference of base of cylinder = 24 m
circumference = 2 x pi x r
 24 = ​2 x pi x r
24 = 2 x 22/7 x r
24 x 7/22 x 1/2 = r
42/11 m = r
 
now applying in volume of cylinder = 
22/7 x r2 x h 
= 22/7 x (42/11)2 x 77
= 22/7 x 42/11 x 42/11 x 77
= 2 x 1764
= 3528m3
