Area = 27 cm^2
Area of a parallelogram = b*h
Base (b) = b
Height (h) = 1/3 b = b/3

Area = b*h = b*b/3

By substituting area,
27 = b*b/3
27*3 = b*b
81 = b^2
b = root of 81 = 9 cm

We know now that base is 9 cm. So,
h = b/3 = 9/3 = 3 cm

We can also find height another way:
Area = b*h
27 = 9*h
h = 27/9 = 3 cm

Therefore your answer is 3 cm.
Hope it helps you!
