The height of a parallelogram is 3 dm . If the area is 240 cm2 , find the base of parallelogram .

h=3 dm
1dm=10cm then 3 dm= 30cm
area=240cm^2
area of parallelogram=b×h
240=b×30
240/30=b
8cm= b

Height = 3 dm = 30 cm

So area of parallelogram is calculated as -

Area of parallelogram = base × height

240 = base × 30

base = 240 / 30

base = 8 cm
