For the parallelogram

Height = 3dm = 3 × 10 cm = 30cm

Area = 240 cm

Let the base be x cm.

We know that

Area of parallelogram = base × height

=> 240 = b × 30

=> b = 240/30

=> b = 8

•°• The base of the parallelogram is 8cm.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Height (h) = 3dm                                                                       [1 cm = 10 cm ]

                  = 3 x 10

                   = 30 cm

Area            = 240 cm

                    = h * b

Base            = x

h*b               =  area

30 * x           = 240

x                   = 240/30

x                   = 8 cm

Base            = 0.8 dm
