Area of parallelogram =240m2

Height =12cm

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

∴ Base =12240

              =20cm

Hence, the answer is 20cm.

Let's, Convert height into centimetre (cm)

★We know that 1 dm = 10 cm

Therefore, 3 dm = 3 cm

Hence, Height of parallelogram=30 cm.

Now we know that,

★Area of parallelogram = Height×Base

→240 = 30 × Base

→240/30 = Base

→8 cm = Base

So, the base of a parallelogram = 8 cm.
