let the height is h

so base = 3h

now as it is given that

 \:base × height = 108  \:  {cm}^{2}   \\ 3h \:  \times h = 108  \\ 3 {h}^{2}  = 108 \\  {h}^{2}  =  \frac{108}{3} \\  {h}^{2}  = 36 \\  \sqrt{ {h}^{2} }  =  \sqrt{36}  \\ h = 6 \: cm

So the height is 6 cm

and base is 3h = 3 × 6 = 18 cm

Hope it helps :)
