Solution:-

Let the base of the || gm be x
so height =1/3 x

we know that ,

Area of a || gm=Base × Height

192 cm^2=x×1/3x
192 cm^2=x^2/3
x^2/3=192 cm^2
x^2=192×3 cm^2
x=√576cm^2

x=24 cm

Hence , base =x=24 cm.
Height =1/3×24
=8 cm

Hope it helped.

Answer:

height = 8 cm

base = 24 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

take the height as x cm and base as 3x cm

the we know that area of parallelogram is base × height

so => x × 3x = 192

=> 3x² = 192

=> x² = 192 / 3

=> x² = 64

=> x = √64

∴ x = 8

base = 3x =3 × 8 = 24 cm

height = x = 8 cm
