The height of a parallelogram is three-eighths of its base. If the area of the parallelogram is 96 cm², find its height and base.

Let the Base of parallelogram be x
Height =3/8x
area of parallelogram = height ×Base
96=x×3/8x
3x^2=96×8
x^2=768/3
x=root 256
=16
base= 16cm
height =3/8×16
=6
