the height of a right angle triangle is 7 cm less than its base if the length of its hypotenuse is 13 cm find its hight and measure of base​

Answer:

Hey mate

You will do this by Pythagoras theorem

AC is hypotenuse = 13 cm

AB is height =7cm

BC is base =?

AC²=AB²+BC²

13²=7²+BC²

169=49 +BC²

BC²= 169-49

BC²=120

bc =  \sqrt{120}

  = \sqrt{4 \times 30}

 = 2 \sqrt{30}

BC=2√30
