Given : A Right circular cylinder

Height =14cm

curved surface area (CSA)=704sq.cm

Volume = ?

We know,

Curved surface area of cylinder =2πrh

704cm² =2πr×14cm

r= \frac{704cm}{2π×14}

r= \frac{352cm}{14π}

r=\frac{176cm}{7π} \: (putting π= \frac{22}{7})

r= \frac{176×7}{7×22} \: cm

r=8cm

Volume of a Right circle cylinder (v)= πr²h

=\frac{22}{7}×8×8×14cm^3

=2816cm³
