Answer:

r =11/2 cm , curved surface

area=484cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given --->

----------

Height of cylinder = 14 cm

Edge of cube = 11 cm

To find --->

----------

1) Radius of cylinder

2) Curved surface area of cylinder

Solution--->

--------------

Volume of cube = edge³

= (11)³

= 1331 cm³

Volume of cylinder = π r² h

ATQ

Volume of cube = Volume of cylinder

1331 = π r² h

1331 = 22/7 r² (14)

1331 = 44 r²

r² = 1331 / 44

r² = 121/4

r = √121/4

r = 11 / 2

radius of cylinder = 11/2 cm

Curved surface area = 2πrh

=2 ×(22/7) × (11/2) ×14

=22 × 11 × 2

=22 × 22

= 484 cm²
