Heya !!

Height of tent ( H ) = 9 m

Diameter ( D ) = 24 m

Radius ( R ) = D/2 = 12 m

Therefore,

Slant height ( L ) = ✓(R)² + (H)²

=> ✓(12)² + (9)²

=> ✓144 + 81

=> ✓225

=> 15 m.

Canvas required for making the tent = CSA of tent = πRL

=> 22/ 7 × 12 × 15

=> ( 22 × 12 × 15 ) / 7

=> 3960/7

=> 565.714 m².

Cost of 1 m canvas= 14

Therefore,

Cost of 565.14 m canvas = 14 × 565.714 = RS 7919.996

Answer:

7919.996

Step-by-step explanation:

H = 9

D=24m

R=D/2 =12m

Therefore

Slant height (L)=(R)^2 + (H)^2

=) (12)^2+(9)^2

=) 144+81

=) 225

=) 15m

Cava's required for making the tent=C.S.A of tent =πrl

=) 22/7×12×15

=) (22×12×15)/7

=) 3960/7

=) 565.714m^2.

cost of 1m convas= 14

cost of 565.14m canvas = 14×565.714 = 7919.996
