Answer:

=> Present height = 64 cm .

=> Let growth = 1/8 = 0.125

=> Height after 1 St year = 64 + (64×1/8) = 72cm .

=> Height after 2nd year = 72 +(72 × 1/8) = 81 cm .

( we were not knowing frist year height when we find it so in second year we have + 72 and × it with 1/8).

Formula

=>Height after n years = h(1+g)^2

=>Height after 2 years = 64(1+1/8)^2

=>64(1.125)^2

=>64(1.265625) = 81 cm

Key concept

Height :- The measurement of someone or something from from head to foot or from base to top.

Answer:

Height after 2 years = 81cm

Step-by-step explanation:

We Have :-

Present height of tree = 64cm

Increase in height = 1/8 each year

To Find :-

Height After 2 years

Solution :-

Present height ( a ) = 64 cm

Let growth ( b ) = 1/8 = 0.125

Height after 1st year = 64+ (64*1/8) = 72 cm

Height after 2nd year = 72+(72*1/8) = 81 cm

Height after n years = a(1+b)ⁿ

Height after 2 years = 64(1+1/8)²

=64(1.125)²

=64(1.265625)

=81 cm

Height After 2 years = 81cm
