Let the side of triangle be x...

Given it's height be h = 10 cm

Now area of equilateral triangle is

1/2 × base × h = √3/4 × x × x
1/2 × 2 × 10 = √3/4 × x × x

X = (40/√3)^1/2 cm

Which the required answer..

Hope it helps regards SR

Heya User,

-->> Height of an equilateral
Δ = ( √3 / 2 ) side
   => √3 / 2 * side = 10cm
   => 20√3 / 3 = side

-->> Area of equilateral
Δ 3/4 ( side )² = ( √3 / 4 )[ 400 * 3 ]/9
                                                                    = 100( √3 / 3 ) cm²
