height  = 10m

mass =  2kg

work done = change in potential energy

mgh

g 9.8 or 10 m/s^2

i am taking 10m/s^2

2 x 10 x 10 = 200 joules

mass of the object = 2 kg

height = 10 m

acceleration due to gravity = 10 * 2

work done = f * s

                    = m*g*h

                     =2*10*2

                     =40 J

so, work done on the object is 40 J
