According to question
it is given that
Height of barometer at sea level = h1 = 75 Cm
and
Height of barometer at hill = h2 = 50 Cm
Also
Ratio of density of mercury to that of air = 10000
We know
Height of the hill = ratio of density of mercury to that of air / (h1 - h2 )
= 10000/ 75-50
= 10000 / 25
= 400 Cm
Thus Height of hill is 400 Cm
